Sooo..... I'm about to do something that I JUST said I couldn't do anymore. Call me a liar, hypocrite, whatever... I have no choice here.

Happy New Year 2025! I hope, for everyone, that this year will have a more positive impact.

So, of course, after I posted yesterday I got a text from a friend needing help to trap a kitten.... It was easy, done in a few minutes.

As the end of the year is basically here I reflect openly on the atrocities that occurred. I hope and pray 2025 will be a kinder year.

Poe has made his journey. The meds did nothing and the fluid was worse. Dr Floyd said he would only have a couple of days left.

I have been avoiding this. Poe has stopped eating as of 3 days now. Yesterday he started gagging and today dry heaved.

Don't know when I will have time or sanity for a proper post again but trying for this one.

Poe's x-ray wasn't good. There's more fluid. We're going to try Lasix for a week. If it doesn't help his time is very limited.

Sorry sorry! No time for posts. Packing up my mom's house. She doesn't have cancer but might as well. Nephrogenic adenoma.

I don't know how to post this and I'm mentally all over the place right now so forgive me. Poe went to the vet yesterday.

I'm really sorry about not posting as much but my mother's condition has declined rapidly in this past week.

Wow. This past week. The amount of loss has left me numb.

She was SO surprised and happy! She didn't believe it at first. Poe was a very good boy and the doctor was in love with him, too.

I WIN! I was first told that "cats aren't allowed" for any reason. So I went over that person's head.
