This isn't the typical post and I wonder how much impact it will have.
Many of you in the cat community know Sandy Pullen. She is a champion of cats and rescue. Now that her family has made it public I can make a request in her name.
Sandy has begun her journey. I knew a few weeks ago but it wasn't appropriate to speak then so I do now.
Even to the end Sandy has shared cats in need of rescue or homes. She has always donated what she could and made sure to send one beforehand to everyone she supported. If all she could do was share, she did.
I know that we always ask for help but today I ask for one of her favorite rescues. Poor Guy's Cat Rescue really needs more likes and more help. Charlie does it all on his own, like me. Only he has double the number of kitties and has had some serious health issues. Of course, when he said no to taking 3 more they were dumped on his property that night.
Sandy wanted people to help them. I want you to help them. Go to the page, give them a like, help them however you can. Give them the help you have given us. Do this for Sandy; as a tribute to an amazing woman who has given selflessly to so many.
Yes, Sandy was named for her. She asked me to name a cat after her and within a few days it was done. Sandy loves orange, too.
I fulfilled my promise to her and she was able to see her little namesake.
Now I ask you to help in her wish for Poor Guy's Cat Rescue to get the much needed help they deserve.
