Mom Carla~
I post from the frontline of Snotpacolypse. I have 12 on Veraflox now. It's getting better but this is not how I invisioned the first week of the year. I'm getting 2 more bottles ($112) of meds today. Hoping that will be enough to clear this out.
I have put in a request for a negotiable price with my clinic. If the owner agrees to the same price as I would be charged for the low cost clinic (including the exam fee) I will pay $88 for each boy and $103 each for the 2 girls. Either way it would be $710 for all 8. I have $500 raised. The low cost vet has become inconvenient because of having to make separate trips for exams and then waiting for an appointment for the surgeries which would be done on separate days, too. Gas ain't free. Just saying. But I'm waiting to hear from the owner.
Markus is doing great! We're 15 days into observation with a long way to go but he's been completely normal since the scare on day 6. I ask for continued prayers and thoughts for his complete recovery!
Gia is behaving without the cone and his scab is healing. No more spots of ringworm have appeared so meds are working. He hates them.
Noodles has finally cleared up! His nose is cleaned off, too. Poor boy was sneezing so bad he had bloody snot caked on it!
The ringworm seems to be under control now. God knows I clean enough but went hard on it the last week. I'm really burned out but I have to get everyone healthy so I can list adoptions!
In spite of the cold and ringworm things are going well and if I get a birthday fundraiser check soon I will stop asking for help for a while. But these surgeries have to happen ASAP. I caught Toby trying to ride Liz yesterday! She's not even in heat but I guess he wanted to practice. UGH!
ANY amount helps! Shares help! PayPal or Zelle is info@tuxieslegacy.org and put FIX in notes. After all this is done everyone here will be fixed. I know we're a rescue but I still hate asking.
Thank you so much for all the food and litter! I may be ahead with wet food for next month! Dry is always needed for gen pop but we're good for the next 2 weeks. Thank you for so much support right after the holidays! I know everyone is doing the best they can so please NEVER feel bad if you can't help!
Shares are free and anyone can help by doing that!
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! Enjoy the pictures!
