I'm really sorry about not posting as much but my mother's condition has declined rapidly in this past week.
She is in full blown dementia and completely bedridden.
Last night she had a procedure to check her bladder and remove the stints in her kidneys. The doctor said it looks like her bladder is filled with cancer.... Biopsy done, results next week. Regardless, we are trying to get her into hospice care as she is done. She has a complete DNR in place and stated (before dementia) that she would refuse any treatment....
OK, this isn't about me but all of this affects my home. Fortunately, all the kitties are doing good and I just hope it stays that way. Poe will come here on Sunday and he needs to see the vet. He's chewed the hair on his right back leg and won't let me look. His eating is off, too. He's probably as stressed as my brother and I are.
So I may be posting less while we navigate through my mother's care. Please know that Giving Tuesday is everyday for rescues.
