10/04/2023 Sugar Update

I wish Happy Easter to those that celebrate.

I'm not celebrating anything. I just don't have it in me.

Sugar has had 2 shots so far. This morning she looks more alert and she ate some last night. This isn't going to be easy at all with her. She cried out through the whole thing and had 3 stabs each time. Even in the cat bag. Every cry split my soul a little more. I talk to her through it but it hurts. I will definitely see if I can switch to pills for her.

Thank you all for donations. I'm $200 short of goal to buy meds. Because she's taking 2 shots a day until her respiration is stable I only have about 5 days. Please help me save her with any amount or shares.

People left the page when I posted she was positive. Great. I didn't ask for this and Sugar (Mickey and Markus, too) certainly don't deserve this! I'm broken inside from it. I can't please everyone.

On a positive note:

Lafayette went on his own yesterday! And he's eating kitten food! It's a good win in all this. I take what I can get these days.

So please help however you can. Hopefully Mickey will get her cure next labs. Maybe Sugar will calm down for shots but I doubt it. I have no choice but to try. I've never just given up on any of them so I can't start now.
