Sorry I didn't update about Victor yesterday. It was the last weekday I work and it was 102 degrees.
I came home and passed out!
You can read all the medical on the bill. He got Convenia and Dex shots. He will do a round of oral steroids and see if that helps. He might have to change diets, too. Then we run the risk of him getting blocked again. Maybe just mix the 2!
Now something else has come up. My friend, Mo, had a sweet ginger dumped at his house. He's been feeding him and it's so hot he brought him inside. His other cat is freaking out and he did try to keep him. Mo took care of all vetting, neuter, and blood work. The poor boy is about 4 years old and FIV+. Mo is going to adopt a kitten from us and we will be welcoming Goose to our family soon.
No one understands that FIV cats CAN live with non-FIV cats. No one wanted to foster him either. Not that people are breaking down the doors to foster or adopt.... I can't turn him away. I have said NO plenty of times but this boy needs a loving home.
Once all the kittens have all tests and shots they'll be able to get adopted out and it won't be so crazy here. Pixie does enjoy them though!
I have a couple of Halloween tie blankets to get started on. I miss making things so it's time to get back into it. Hope they sell! It's all for the cats!
Here's to, hopefully, cooler temps soon, too!
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
