I couldn't wait to take Little Bobby to the vet.
He started mouth breathing and we went at 5 last night. Fortunately he had no fever but was super congested in his nose. All he needed was a Convenia shot. He's already doing much better.
Roman and Liz got picked up and went to their forever home!
It was strange not having them in my lap this morning. But, as I said previously, they are just over in the next neighborhood so I can visit them any time. Happy for them all!
Now Lafayette. He will be going to another rescue tomorrow. A lady who has a small rescue, like me, was in Petsmart and told Jace's coworker that she was looking for a 5 week old kitten to go with her latest rescue baby. The kitten is shy and has no other kittens his age to learn how to play. La-la doesn't have anyone his size to play with and he's all about playing. It's a win-win for them both.
This one is hard. I'm in love with Lafayette. But the point of rescue is to save, treat, and rehome. Oh, how I wish I was rich! I would keep every one of them and adopt more! I could pay someone to scoop! Since this is not the case I have to do what's best for him. I WILL cry in the car after.
If it doesn't work out he can always come back.
Sugar is down to 1 shot a day starting today. I have meds for 2 weeks and before I run out I'll order her pills. Time can't go fast enough on this. I have to poke her 3 times to get her dose in. It's horrible for both of us. But she forgives me and purrs after.
It's been a crazy week but good things have happened. Paws crossed that this pattern continues! Please continue to help however you can.
Funds, supplies, shares all add up to a successful rescue! Thank you so much for everything you do!
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
