PICKLE UPDATE!
This is the text from Dr Floyd:
Pickle is doing great, the tip of her tail did have an injury and fell off when I pulled on it under anesthesia 🤦♀️🤦♀️ I'm amputating a little higher up and closing with sutures
There was like a tight band of scar tissue in that area that cut off blood supply to the distal tail. The tail tip was dead 💀
I just twisted it and it popped off and my nurse about died
But we removed the tail above the exposed bone and closed it up pretty
She still has about 2/3 of her tail
I KNEW her tail had an issue!
I'll pick her tonight. Thank you for helping me save another! 😻
