15/02/2023 Update

Markus has good labs!

He's doing great and weighing in at 8lbs 6ozs! Dr Floyd is looking into another antibiotic but has to make sure a kitten can use it for, possibly, an extended period. We want to get rid of the sneezing!

So target date for CURE is March 17th, St Patrick's Day. Also St Gertrude's Day! Also the one year birthday of Flynn, Fionna, and Faye! Also 1 year since Ambrose came home from ER after scaring the used cat litter out of me with his bizarre methemoglobinemia! It's a big day, a lucky day, and will hopefully be Markus's cured day.

Jolene didn't go to the vet. Last night I watched her walking around with no limping. This morning was the same and when I went to put her in the carrier she RAN! I was running late so I decided to just leave her alone. I talked about it with Dr Floyd and we always think the same: she DID have some kind of injury. Now it's healed but when she loaf sits (paws tucked under her) it probably gets stiff or sore. Like when you fall asleep on your arm and it hurts when you wake up. Make sense? But I'll keep watching her.

Dr Floyd also gave the OK for the microchips! I'll order 10 to start. I also have to order Vlad's eye meds and hope they don't take forever to get here. He has more Optixcare coming tomorrow. It's eye lube. He used to use it daily when he was little but I stopped when he went on the antibiotic/steroid treatment.

Now my main concern is raising funds for Mickey's treatment. She's doing so great with shots! Next week we'll be halfway through treatment! It's going a lot faster than with Markus because I know what I'm doing and she doesn't fight me. I need to weigh her today.

Now I go finish what I was doing yesterday. As always, help however you can. We always need food and litter. Still have credit at the vet after today so I didn't have to touch PayPal or bank. But I also have to get the funds for Mickey. If you donate anything now please put FIP in notes.
