What a week it's been!
Sugar has had 7 days of treatment and shown major improvement. Today I made a generic purrito wrap, dosed her with 2ml Gabapentin, went to a 20 gauge needle, and got her shot done in less than a minute. She protested but I only had to stick her once. It's still going to be a long 2 weeks to get to pills.
Lafayette is going at 3. I've tried to not have much contact with him today because I don't want to let him go. I just hope I'm doing the right thing for him.
Mickey has actually developed an FIP medicine sore!
It's not very big and I started using Vetricyn on it. It doesn't bother her at all. These sores can happen during treatment and are a side affect of the GS meds. It has nothing to do with injections. She's doing great otherwise!
So far so good. Hoping for an uneventful weekend!
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
