From the ER vet:
hey it's dr guidry - Gia's oxygen tapering has started. His respiratory rate has been between 36-42 for the past 2 hours so we went from 40% oxygen to 35% at 12pm. I will try to taper him by 5% oxygen every hour until at 20% which is room air. If all goes to plan, he should be off of oxygen by 4-5pm and we can discuss a discharge time around 5-6pm if that works for your schedule. I will call you once off of oxygen for 30 minutes to discuss pickup or call if we cannot taper to discuss goals.

I desperately want him home but not if he's not stable.
PLEASE let him be OK off oxygen!
Thank you to the person who called in funds to our regular vet! 😻💜😻
