Dr Parks called. X-ray is clear!
That was my biggest concern. But she looked in her throat and there's no polyps. However, she has stomatitis and her back molars definitely have to go. That's a dental surgery. She only weighs 10lbs now and she's a big girl. She lost 3lbs in the last year.
The strange cough, lack of meow, and rattle she sometimes has is from the grossness in her mouth dripping down her throat causing phlegm. It's also why she's sometimes gagging. I can relate!
She's getting antibiotics for dental issues and steroid therapy while I try to raise funds. I think Slinky's surgery was around $650 but that was a couple of years ago. I'll get an estimate and just keep being desperate, right?
Thank you for keeping her in your thoughts.
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
