19/01/2023 Neegan Vet Update

Updated: Jan 19

It's a lot. X-rays don't show any fracture but something going on with T11-13.

Pretty sure he can't feel anything though. Not sure if he can urinate on his own but not constipated so that indicates he can poop on his own. Also has a massive ulcer on his front right pad. Teeth are broken so it's hard to tell his age. Maybe 8-9.

There's a lot going on with him. IF he's not feral I will learn to express him and give him the best for as long as he has. If he is feral....

Even Dr Floyd is on the fence about what to do. For tonight he's been cleaned up, given meds, and is safe in the clinic. She's trying steroids for his spine. It's possible that it's an old injury that is now causing paralysis but she's getting more opinions and researching.

Tomorrow I'll go up there and see how he reacts to me without being loopy from sedation.

She sent me video of him allowing some head petting.

IDK. This one is hard. Even for the vet. Too many unknowns.

Hope we can find answers.

BTW, I named him Neegan.
