Mom Carla~
3 DAYS TO GO!
When Markus was diagnosed on September 30th with wet FIP I wasn't surprised but it was still devastating to hear the words. I immediately contacted an FIP group but they only wanted to sell me meds. They asked no questions and answered none of mine. Red flags went up in my brain and I found FIP Warriors 5.0. I was given an extensive questionnaire, multiple resources and instructions to read over, and connected to emergency meds to get started that night!
If you ever have a cat diagnosed with FIP don't mess around with any other group! Go to FIP Warriors 5.0! They know exactly what they're doing and have both vets and vet techs on board!
Now imagine you're on the road, going back to your house, carrying a brown bag with syringes, needles, and unmarked vials of an unknown liquid hoping you don't get pulled over for any reason!
We had a couple of good days but today wasn't one of them. I tell him it's almost over but all he knows is every morning it's coming. He still takes it better than me.
If he jerks sometimes the serum misses the subcutaneous and leaves a lump under his skin. He has several from bad shot days. It will resolve and the meds are still getting into him but he's sore until they go down. Today I took him for a "spa" treatment. Cold laser therapy like I did with Grammy. When we got home he was already acting super happy and rubbing all over me. It did help!
Thursday is technically his 84th day. He will have labs done and get another laser treatment just because it helps and he deserves that. We need super huge amounts of good vibes, prayers, anything positive for him to go into observation!
All of this was possible because of the generosity of the cat community. He is alive and thriving because people who will never meet him cared to save one little kitten's life! I can never say thank you enough. When I lost Jessikat my mind and world collapsed so saving her brother means absolutely everything to me.
Maybe Thursday can be the last shot. But more than anything I want to hear CLEARED FOR OBSERVATION!
Thank you for caring about him.
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
