I WIN!
I was first told that "cats aren't allowed" for any reason. So I went over that person's head. The next lady was told this: "All my mom wants is to see her cat. She's been in the hospital/rehab for over a month and will probably never make it back home. Seeing Poe will either give her the motivation to keep going OR it's her final wish. Make. This. Happen."
And she did!
My mom is going to be SO surprised tomorrow!
I had to get his shots updated and he got to use his fancy carrier. He wasn't impressed and sang (voraciously) to and from the vet, a 40 mile round trip. And "Oh Lawd, he comin'" has dropped down to 18.6lbs. Still too chonk to carry in a regular carrier.
