Tomorrow will be exactly 3 weeks since the sciatica started.
Though I woke up at 3am in pain it went away completely for several hours. Yes, I cleaned and I don't want to hear "don't overdo it". I stopped when I thought I should and took a nap. Woke up with pain and I iced it away. So it seems waking up is the issue. But it is better!
Now business. Several posts ago I was raising funds for Hazel's spay and labs for Riley. Funds are on credit for the spay Tuesday. Tomorrow I'm taking Riley to get labs.
I have been watching Riley for months and, honestly, always worried that she would develop FIP. It is now becoming evident that she's showing signs. I freaked out about Andre but if Riley has it I won't be surprised.
She's still eating and doesn't seem to have a fever but she's scrungly and I'm starting to feel her spine. She needs labs. I have meds to start immediately if she's positive. I'm ready for anything.
Andre is doing OK. Still limping but eating and no fever. He was screaming this morning and I thought he was hurting but he stopped as soon as breakfast was served.
Victor is greatly improved on medication. His hair is growing back in and he has no sores at all! He still is a grumpy boy but very lovable.
I'm getting the first appointment available for Riley so I'll drop the news as soon as I get the labs done.
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
