No, I didn't need another rescue.
Yes, I could have said no. I was semi-freaking out after I did. But when we got home and I was cleaning her wounds she just chirped and purred through it.
At the pool I asked one of my lifeguards if I did the right thing and he said he wouldn't have been able to turn her away either. He said "It's what you do. It's who you are so you got to be you". Love my Nathan. He gets it.
She's eating and relaxing. Judging from where the wounds are she's lucky her spine wasn't injured! Started her on antibiotics last night. She wasn't dramatic or anything! Just a happy girl to be safe and have food!
I'm off for 2 days so I can give everyone and everything my full attention! 😻
